“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. According to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations for ever and ever, Amen”

Ephesians 3:20-21

The Bible teaches us to pray faithfully in Jesus’ name. We are reminded over and over again to ask God for the things we need and to trust Him for the answers. We are told to pray believing that our requests will be met. Jesus told the disciples that with even a little bit of faith they could move mountains. (Matthew 17:20-21)

Paul concludes his prayer for the Ephesian people by not only asking in Jesus name, but by claiming the power and might of God. He believed that his prayers were heard, but he also knew that God could do “immeasurable more  than he could ask or imagine”.  Paul prayed, trusted and expected the best results from  God.

When we pray faithfully in Jesus’ name we can know that God hears us. God is so good to us —He not only hears us, but His answers can exceed anything we’ve hoped for or imagined.  Why? Because He is a good and loving God that wants the very best for His children.

Truly He is worthy of glory and praise throughout all generations.
