“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Genesis 1:1
“So God created man in His own image…” Genesis 1:27
“God saw all that He had made, and it was very good.” Genesis 1:31
God made the world and the universe and everything in it from nothing. He created human beings from dust and breathed His own breath into Adam to give him life. The Bible records that it was all good.
It was no problem for God to speak the world into being. It was no problem for Him to create all the animals and place them in their perfect environments. It was no problem for Him to create human beings. He did it perfectly and IT WAS GOOD!
If we have an amazing, mighty God that can do all this, shouldn’t we trust Him to take care of us too? When we feel we have nothing to offer Him, we just need to trust Him. We have a God of miracles. He can take our nothing and make something wonderful and beautiful from it.
So give all your problems, your anxieties, your failures to God. Let go of all the hurt and anger of the past. Let God make a new creation in you and you will see that it is good.
